Grace Baptist Church, Pleasant View, TN

A community of believers walking the narrow road together, learning and growing verse by verse

Welcome to Grace Baptist Church!

Thank you so much for visiting our website today. I pray you were blessed while reading about Grace Church and/or listening to the sermons.

At Grace, we are committed to helping families grow stronger. We have a conviction to help husbands love their wives as Christ does; wives to each respect their husband’s God given role, and parents to "train a child in the way he should go.”

  • Our Sunday morning Bible classes are designed to have all family members on the same page.
  • Parents study the same Scripture their children do.
  • The Scripture is a follow up from the sermon the week before..

This helps to equip all members of each family to grow in the Lord together.

We believe the church grows stronger as our families do. As the church is strengthened more disciples of Christ are made through the ministries of the church, which is the ultimate goal.

  • We have recently adopted a people group in Ecuador, the Quijos area. We will send a group 2-3 times a year and are excited about what God will do there!!
  • We offer AWANA! AWANA is a ministry designed to instill God's Word into the hearts and minds of children and teens. also, to show them that being a Christian can be fun!  We will pour ourselves into each child and teen believing that God will reap a harvest! We would love the chance to minister to your children and or teenagers! You can find more information at the bottom of the page.

Blessing,
Pastor Clay

There is also a short devotion below to go with the sermon.

The most important thing any human can believe is the truth about Who Jesus is, that HE is God.

In John 5, Jesus is confronted by religious leaders for healing a man on the Sabbath. Jesus responds with a discourse about His deity.  His claims include being equal with God in truth, receiving honor,  judgement, etc.

Having salvation starts with believing in Who Jesus is. There is no eternal life for those who refuse to believe in the Son of God.

Application questions:

1. What do I believe about Jesus?

2. Is my belief in Him genuine or superficial?

3.  Do I have absolute assurance of my salvation?
